Ghoyan Drohe is a ruined city ruled over by Pentos, although originally built by the Rhoynar.

Located within the Velvet Hills and situated upon the Little Rhoyne before it joins with the Rhoyne proper, Ghoyan Drohe has been ruined for nearly a thousand years, although little effort at rebuilding has ever been attempted.
Within the broken walls, nature has taken over the ruins, and branching and creeping plants spread across the shattered stone. Nearly two hundred different variants of flowers and bushes can be found in the abandoned gardens.
Recent History[]
In 339AC, a company of sellswords found a horde of treasure within the ruined city of Ghoyan Drohe, and quickly turned on each other fighting over the choicest items. Travellers found the grisly scene left in their wake, and found evidence that the riches once belonged to Illyrio Mopatis, the Pentoshi Magister who was mobbed in the street when he tried to return to the Free City after the defeat of the Dragon Queen in the War of the Exiles.
