Hidak's Circle is a small Ghiscari mercenary company based primarily in the Bay of Dragons.
History[]
They originally started as a group of guardsman for Irmihl mo Shelk, a high-ranking member of the Yunkai oligarchy of Wise Masters. In 241AC, the Captain of the Guard, Shazmal na Pazzun was caught in the act of deflowering his master's first-born daughter. After his execution, the guardsman were banished from entering the city, and have roamed Essos performing contracts since.
Recent History[]
Hidak's Circle was involved extensively in the Ivory War, fighting initially for the alliance of Tolos and Elyria to seize control of the Isle of Cedars against the Astapori force stationed there at the First Battle of Needle Hill. After the loss of the isle, they turned cloak on the Tolosi, assisting Meereenese forces in the sacking of the city of Tolos during the Battle of Iron and Lead.
