Jinqi is a coastal city in the Golden Empire of Yi Ti in eastern Essos. It is ruled by the Amber Emperor, one of the three main claimants of the Throne of a Thousand Metals.
Location and Geography[]
Jinqi is the easternmost of the major cities of Yi Ti, but is located west the border between the Golden Empire and the Shadow Lands. It is built upon the banks of the delta formed by the river Jinqa.
The city defines the transition between the Cao-Yang Province to the west, and the Gao-Jie Province to the east.
