The Legion of the Jade Dagger is an ancient sellsword company, hailing from Yi Ti. For centuries the Legion has served as a refuge for YiTish nobles and warriors in the disputed lands, regardless the reason for their presence so far from the homeland.
The Legion holds true to the strict caste system of Yi Ti, where both role within the company and dynastic ties greatly affect the respect a member is afforded by his peers and commanders. To this end, it is rare for members of the lower castes to reach the upper echelons of the Legion whilst many of nobles are often recruited straight into such ranks. There have been exceptions, but these are few and far between.
